Si ponemos la victoria como nuestra principal prioridad, nos encontraremos ligados a la competición, y tendremos que poner nuestra meta en algo que está lejos del mundo de la armonía, contraponiendo con ello la realidad de la naturaleza.

La Esencia del vacío / The Essence of vacuum

Treinta radios convergen en el buje de una rueda,
y es ese espacio vacío lo que permite al carro cumplir su función.

Modelando el barro se hacen los recipientes,
y es su espacio vacío lo que los hace útiles.

Puertas y ventanas se abren en las paredes de una casa,
y es el espacio vacío lo que permite que la casa pueda ser habitada.

Lo que existe sirve para ser poseído.

Lo que no existe sirve para cumplir una función.

La naturaleza como el Aikido son creados únicamente por su propia energía vital. La naturaleza al igual que el Aikido son por esencia naturales, no son el resultado de algo construido, por eso, si practico el Aikido, no tengo ideas egocéntricas, mi alma se une con la naturaleza. En ese instante “los espíritus de la tierra” y yo mismo, somos solo uno y todo se vuelve posible."
